Kayla is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She completed her undergraduate degree from Seattle University, and after working as an inpatient registered nurse at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital for multiple years, completed her Master’s Degree at the University of Michigan. With experience in acute, primary, rural, and urban care, Kayla believes that primary care is an excellent opportunity for prevention, education, and developing healthy habits at an early age. She loves getting to know patients and their families individually and working together to form the best plan of care for the family. In her spare time, Kayla and her husband live in Denver, where they enjoy hiking, backpacking, and skiing, as well as anything that involves bringing their German Shepherd, Lisa, along for the ride.
