We Now Have Covid-19 Testing !

In partnership with our friends at OMNI Medical Care, we are able to offer our patients, their families, and the community testing for COVID-19.

We are able to perform two tests:

1. A PCR (nasal swab) to check for a current infection and

2. ANTIBODY testing (blood test) which can tell us if a person has been exposed to COVID-19.

What Mainstreet Pediatrics is doing to Protect Our Patients:

  • Removed all high-touch items, including toys, chalkboards, etc. Those items that we do still utilize are sanitized after every visit.
  • Increased our cleaning frequency using effective disinfectants.
  • Implemented a masking policy for all who enter our facility.
  • Posted signs to screen anyone who enters for symptoms and exposure.
  • Began screening our employees when entering our facilities.
  • Offering COVID-19 testing at our facility.
  • Utilizing virtual visits as an option for all patients and home visits for our youngest and most at-risk patients.

Please note that while the stay-at-home orders have been lifted, Mainstreet Pediatrics will remain vigilant in our efforts to prevent the spread of the disease. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to care for our patients during this difficult time.

Cloth masks are not recommended for children <2 years of age because of concerns about suffocation
