About Us.

We want our patients to live stronger, healthier lives. Our goal is to empower you and your child to participate in decisions about his or her healthcare and well-being. We listen to you, get to know your family and your child so we have the most complete information about his or her life and lifestyle. We don’t just treat the symptom, we treat the whole child.

Our offices are warm and friendly purposely designed for your comfort. We hope you will feel welcome and at home when you are here. Make sure to check out our amazing fish tank and visit with our lovable bulldog, Dr. Oppenheimer, or Dr. O for short.  Dr. O is our office mascot and therapy pet. He isn’t as active as our fish, but he’s soft as a bunny and can make even the toughest days easier!

Lorri Phipps, DNP
Founder and Co-Owner of Mainstreet Pediatrics
Emeritus, Retired

I consider it a privilege to care for your child and do so as if he or she were my very own. I have always dreamed of owning my own pediatric practice and in 2017 that dream came true. It’s a practice that operates like one I’d want to take my child to as a parent. One where you can reach a doctor at any time day or night when your child is ill, where the doctor will even come to you, because she knows what it’s like to worry about a sick child.
As the President and CEO of Mainstreet Pediatrics, my Big Promise to you is this:
To provide relationship-based primary health care to your children, from a mindset of true caring, in our office, through telemedicine, or in your home, when your family NEEDS it, 24/7/365!
At Mainstreet Pediatrics, our mission is to put the care back in healthcare.

More about Dr. Phipps:

Dr. Phipps has over 32 years of diverse pediatric experience. A decorated Air Force veteran, Lorri served honorably for 8 years, receiving the Air Force Achievement Medal and Air Force Commendation Medal. After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Phipps and her family moved to Pennsylvania. There she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Penn State Children’s Hospital. After relocating to Okinawa, Japan, in 2007, Dr. Phipps functioned as the Family Readiness Liaison for Truck Platoon, 3RD Marine Division, Headquarters Company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom FY08, and 1st Battalion, 3RD Marine Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom FY08 – 09. She also continued her clinical practice through the Red Cross providing pediatric urgent care at Lester Naval Hospital. After returning to the US in 2010, Lorri took a position in the Pediatric ICU at Children’s Hospital Colorado and subsequently worked on the inpatient pulmonary service and in the Special Care Clinic. She was appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (2010 – 2015), and later, the College of Nursing (2015 – 2016) where she was the Program Director of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program just prior to opening Mainstreet Pediatrics. During this time, Lorri also joined the faculty at the University of Arizona (part-time) as an Assistant Professor (2011 – 2018) where she developed and chaired several clinical courses in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs.
Lorri holds a BSN and MSN from Marquette University and a DNP from the University of Arizona.

Brian Phipps

As the Co-Owner and Medical Practice Executive at Mainstreet Pediatrics, I’m honored to be part of this amazing team. I may not be one of the providers or nurses here, but I am just as invested as they are in making sure your child gets the best possible care. As decorated Marine Corps Officer of over 24 years, my wife and I share the same core values; Honor, Courage, and Commitment. I also had the privilege of serving as a police officer w/ the Aurora Police Department (Aurora, CO) for 7 years prior to opening this clinic. Given our experience, we have a special place in our hearts for those who serve in the armed forces or as first responders and go out of our way to find ways to make life a little easier for them and their families.

What's Behind Our Name?

The name Mainstreet Pediatrics was chosen not only to pay homage to the Parker, Colorado community, but also because the words “Main Street” refer to a place of traditional principles. Our values are represented in our philosophy of service before self together with high-quality, patient-centered, and family-centered care.

Core Values

Honor – A code of personal integrity. It’s found in one’s beliefs, but exhibited through one’s actions
Courage – Courage takes the form of physical and mental strength
Commitment – Commitment compels us to serve our patients and their families by providing exceptional care and accessibility

Our Mission

At Mainstreet Pediatrics, our mission is to provide compassionate, high quality, readily accessible healthcare; care that is both effective and efficient, in a family centered environment. We believe that a partnership with our families, knowledgeable and experienced staff, a commitment to excellence, along with an open-mind and generous heart, are essential for the provision of exceptional care.

We are committed to our families and the health of their children and we strive to remain easily accessible to them. This commitment is reflected in our hours, use of cutting edge technology, and our philosophy of care. We believe it is an honor and privilege to be a part of your child’s healthcare and promise to treat each one with respect and tenderness – as if they were our very own

Military and First Responders

Military and first responders are close to our hearts. As co-owners of Mainstreet Pediatrics, our military and first responder backgrounds inform a great deal of how we live and care about people and patients. Lorri was a military child, an active duty officer, military spouse, and mother to 3 military children. Brian was an active duty officer and an Aurora Police officer. We understand the unique challenges – financial burdens, frequent moves and relocation, isolation from family, friends, and relatives, and long family separations related to military training or deployments – and are committed to making the lives of our military families and first responders less challenging.

What are saying about us.

Our family LOVES Dr. Phipps! She is insanely knowledgeable, takes her time with our children, and is sooo fun and interactive with our boys. They don’t even know they are at the doctor! I can’t say enough good about Mainstreet Pediatrics. Also phenomenal office as well- super cute and fun and clean!

Abby Witzel

We switched pediatricians to have someone closer to home and with more flexible hours. This was the best decisions for my kids as they now LOVE going to the doctor. If I was not able to get my older son into the office at 6:00pm I am sure we would of been in the hospital the next day with pneumonia. The follow up after the diagnosis was amazing and each time my kiddo was excited to go see Nemo and play with the train set. Plus they giveaway a toy after each visit so that is an expectation now with my kiddos. Honestly I am so happy to have my kids treated like individuals and not just another kid passing in the door. They love my kids just as much as I do and I know they are in good hands. Thank you for opening up in Parker!!!
