Danielle Kassmeier, FNP
I'm Danielle, a nurse practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for caring for children and their families! My education began with a degree in Nutrition and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, followed by nursing school at the University of Texas. I was a Nurse in the Neonatal ICU at the University of Colorado Hospital before pursuing a master's degree at Vanderbilt University. From there, I ventured to Boston Children's Hospital and the NICU Follow-up and Child Development Clinic at Mass General Brigham in Boston. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Neonatal Nurse, my niche is in neonatal and infant care, specializing in specialty feeding and nutrition management. My approach revolves around food-focused disease management and family-centered care. There's nothing more rewarding than witnessing the growth and development of my patients.
Outside of work, I cherish moments with my husband and our two golden retrievers, Aspen and Willow. We are always on outdoor adventures, whether it's hiking, trail running, skiing, or taking on triathlons – and, of course, indulging in our love for tacos.
