Jordana Popovich, CPNP-PC

Jordana Popovich is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, credentialed by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. After earning her BA in psychology from Boston University, she worked in animal welfare for six years before returning to nursing school at Simmons College. She has been a pediatric nurse since 2007, beginning her career at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on a general medical floor and later in the Emergency Department. She earned her graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 and has since practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in both primary care and college student health settings.

Prior to joining Mainstreet, Jordana spent five years working in forensic nursing as a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, caring for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. During this time, she also contributed to several Department of Justice grants focused on training new sexual assault nurse examiners and improving sexual assault response on college campuses nationwide.

She is thrilled to return to primary care, where she can reconnect with the joys of working with the pediatric population. Jordana loves watching children grow and develop and feels deeply privileged to care for them and their families. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and strong partnerships with patients and families to provide truly family-centered care. Her clinical interests include adolescent medicine and sexual and reproductive health, though she enjoys caring for children of all ages.
