Paula Wills (LPCC)
Paula is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), that brings over 32 years of teaching experience to her counseling practice. She has a BA from Metropolitan State University, and a Master’s in clinical mental health from Adams State University. Paula specializes in Young Adults, Teens, and Children in all areas of life and experiences. Areas of focus for Paula include anxiety, depression, executive functioning and parent/child therapy.
Paula uses a combination of the following therapies : Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT): Helping clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Guiding individuals towards accepting their feelings and committing to meaningful actions. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Focusing on finding solutions in the present and future rather than dwelling on past issues. Her therapeutic approach is open, non-judgmental, and centered on mental well-being. Paula strongly believes in creating a collaborative environment where each session is tailored to the clients unique needs and goals. Together, they will work towards building resilience and fostering a positive path forward. Outside of her professional life, Paula finds joy in hiking and camping, spending quality time with her amazing children, and getting lost in a good book.
